Since the company began in 1961 we have been developing our products, quality and efficiency in order to supply our customers with a high standard of service. This has produced a steady growth rate to the present day. For more details, please see our company profile below.

Company Profile
The company was founded in 1961 for the purpose of producing high quality pressings, flat springs, P-clips, washers and sub-assemblies for the aircraft, electronic and allied industries. Subsequently the company developed and designed a special range of crinkle washers for the Ministry Of Defence, and this required the installation of a heat treatment plant (we also now specialise in the heat treatment of Beryllium copper).
JG Ross has recently gone through a period of growth which has enabled us to increase our floor space by 35%. This has entailed the acquisition of one more adjacent industrial unit. The effect of this has been to make our manufacturing facility more efficient which benefits our cutomers through improved lead times and delivery.
Currently the company produces a large range of pressings,
springs, wireforms, press tools, jigs, sub-assemblies,
and washers.
J.G. Ross products are sold to a varying range of customers; for example a spring clip for "Hornby" model trains, spinal supports for the medical profession, pressings for automatic door closers and a wide range of high precision springs, washers and switch components to the Ministry Of Defence, aircraft and electronics industries.
This manufacturing knowledge has enabled us to produce a wide variety of components using the latest production and process methods, which leads to a quality designed finished product.
